Tao Shiatsu Teacher

Ryokyu Endo, the founder of Tao Shiatsu and Kishindo, Buddist priest, composer/musician and author of "Tao Shiatsu" , "New Shiatsu Method" etc.

Mayu Endo, a shiatsu practitioner and psychotherapist, systematized an abbreviated form of Tao Shiatsu to be used specifically for treating children. Mayu Endo studied therapeutic body-work with various teachers including Eva Lich, daughter of William Lich. She has practiced group therapy as well as private counseling.

Mayu Endo is currently teaching at the Tao Shiatsu Centres in Tokyo and Kyoto, and gives workshops in countries around the world.

Alfred Mueller began to study Shiatsu in 1994 in Austria, after the diploma and several years of shiatsu practice and searching for treatment effectivity, he met 1999 Ryokyu Endo in a workshop in Vienna. After this experience he began to study Tao Shiatsu in Germany and in 2002 he began to build up Tao Shiatsu and Tao Sangha activities like Nembutsu, Ki and Heart School, Unishiatsu, NPO Uni in Austria. Alex Pereklita, an engineer with one and a half years of experience in the nuclear field, left Canada to study Aikido in Japan in 1994. After a severe injury to his knees, he began studying Tao Shiatsu following a profound treatment experience with Master Ryokyu Endo.

Alex returned to Canada in 1999 and established the Tao Shiatsu Centre in Toronto. He has since been giving treatments and leading classes and workshops in Toronto and Montreal. To contact Alex, send message via email form.

Deborah Bachmann developed an interest in Japan and Oriental Medicine while running a Tofu company during her twenties. She has been trained as a community mediator and has taught peer-counseling and conflict resolution to adults and teens.

Deborah began studies in Tao Shiatsu with Master Ryokyu Endo and Mayu Endo in Kyoto, Japan in 1992. In 1996 she opened a Tao Shiatsu clinic in Madison, Wisconsin, USA that later became the Madison Tao Sangha Center. Through the Center she offers Tao Shiatsu treatments and training as well as the educational and charitable activities of Wada-ji Sangha Temple and NPO UNI.
