Izumi Inadera
Born in Nagano, Japan
Qualified and worked as a nutritionist. Is a Master of Tea Ceremony in the style called Edosenke Fuhakuryu.
Izumi became an OKI-DO Yoga Teacher in 1987 and moved to Melbourne in 1992 to teach OKI-DO Yoga.
She is continuing to study in a holistic approach for life and healing (shiatsu, Sotai and macrobiotics).
Her ongoing research and study is incorporated into everyday practice.
Izumi met Ryokyu Endo, founder of Tao Shiatsu in 1995, at a shiatsu conference in Melbourne and began to study Tao Shiatsu with him in a workshop in 1998. She studied in Melbourne and Japan and is continuing heart practice with Nembutsu.
In 2009, she started the Ki and Heart school and nembutsu classes. She completed a 480 hour intensive Tao Shiatsu teacher training in Japan, to spread Tao Heart and Tao Shiatsu in healing the Buddha way.
